Paris Gay Pride

The romantic, enchanting city of Paris celebrates Gay Pride at the end of June (on June 28, in 2008) with a massive parade that draws more than 500,000 spectators and participants as well as a series of parties, balls, and other lively events. The list of Pride Activities includes parties at such clubs as Le Soir, Le Social Club, Mix, The Eagle, Le Club 18, Le Cercle Rouge, Les Bains Douches, Le Queen, and the Banque Club.

The Pride Paris Parade commences on Saturday, June 28, at 2 pm at Place Denfert Rochereau and works its way through the city, eventually crossing the Seine at Pont de Sully, and finishing at Place de la Bastille around 4:30 pm.

Numerous gay clubs, hotels, pubs, and restaurants will also be holding events and offering special promotions during Paris’s Gay Pride, especially the city’s tres gay Marais District.
